The Nickel Centre Minor Hockey Association (NCMHA) is proud to announce the return of the
Flyers Select Team Program, launching again this December.
The Select Program provides an opportunity for House League players to experience enhanced competition
and skill development while maintaining their commitment to their House League teams.
The NCMHA Select Hockey Program is designed to:
- Support the development of House League players through additional competition and instruction
- Offer a development bridge toward competitive hockey
- Provide a structured, tryout-based opportunity within the NCMHA system
Select hockey is not another level of hockey — it is an enhanced extension
of the House League experience for players who want to challenge themselves further without the full commitment
of competitive hockey.
Program Details
- Tryouts begin in Early December
- Teams may be formed in U11, U13, U15, U16, and U18 divisions
- Each Select team may:
- Play up to six (6) exhibition games against other Select teams
- Attend a maximum of two (2) Select tournaments per season
- Players must remain active participants with their House League team, giving priority to all House League games and tournaments
Players on a Select Team will represent the Nickel Centre Flyers in Select Division-sanctioned tournaments and exhibition games.
